BCBG (Pre) Shopping Heaven

I usually like to go into my favorite stores and conduct what I call a pre-shop! So I made a trip to BCBG and fell in love with basically everything I saw.

But what caught my eye were the amazingly detailed shoes and accessories. Beaded  and tribal necklaces, strappy sandals, and amazingly toggled belts. These pieces set the scene for the beautifully detailed and draped garments of the Spring 2012 BCBG collection. Any look must be completed with amazing accessories and BCBG has them. If your going to a bridal shower, wedding rehearsal, or out on the town with that special guy these accessories will bring take your night from ordinary to extraordinary!

BFF Swap!

So my BFF and I have not been near the same size since we were in high school! But now that we are close to being the same size it's amazing to be able to swap clothing!

Yes! I said it! SWAP!

We went shopping last thursday and looked at this black and white striped dress! We both tried it on and loved it! She wore it out Friday night for a friends birthday and looked amazing! She paired it with a pair of lace stockings, a black velvet cropped blazer, cute pearl accent neck piece and finally a flower decorated pair of platform sandals! My BFF rocks!

Spring(2012) Hottest Accessories

There's no doubt that Spring is the most exciting and care free fashion season of the year. No need for hosiery, thick coats, hats or scarves. But this season something other than clothing has grabbed my eye...handbags! Not just any handbags but conversation pieces that speak louder than any woman fighting a fellow fashionista over the last Gucci shoes in a size nine at the latest sample sale. Chanel has released this amazing shell purse...runway Spring 2012!

Bella and Edwards Wedding

So I have to talk about the new Twilight Movie! I am so stoked to see this film, especially Bella's wedding dress! I can even imagine the detail and time that went into making this film. It's a huge turn in Meyer's writing and for all of us more mature twilight fans it's surreal to think about how drastically Bella's life is about to change before she even becomes a vampire! So excited to see this movie!

Raven Symone This Month's Fashion Wow!

From Disney Psychic to ABC Family Diva Raven Symone is a dream.

It has been a pleasure to grow with this amazing Black Girl Who Rocks! Whether we are laughing at That's So Raven re-runs or enjoying a refreshing grown up Raven on the hit TV Movie Revenge of the Bridesmaids, it's not hard to see that Raven's style has evolved! A true fashionista will always evolve as fashion does itself. I am please introduce this young woman as my first style star!

Th tight brown curls(shown in left photo) are perfect in toning down the seriousness of the leather dress Raven is wearing and very much displays her cheerful comedic personality! I really enjoy the naturalistic touch of her make up, it is very fresh and real. Another style aspect of Raven Symone that I find refreshing is her ability to make casual look fashionable. This is something that not many people can do (shown below).
