Raven Symone This Month's Fashion Wow!

From Disney Psychic to ABC Family Diva Raven Symone is a dream.

It has been a pleasure to grow with this amazing Black Girl Who Rocks! Whether we are laughing at That's So Raven re-runs or enjoying a refreshing grown up Raven on the hit TV Movie Revenge of the Bridesmaids, it's not hard to see that Raven's style has evolved! A true fashionista will always evolve as fashion does itself. I am please introduce this young woman as my first style star!

Th tight brown curls(shown in left photo) are perfect in toning down the seriousness of the leather dress Raven is wearing and very much displays her cheerful comedic personality! I really enjoy the naturalistic touch of her make up, it is very fresh and real. Another style aspect of Raven Symone that I find refreshing is her ability to make casual look fashionable. This is something that not many people can do (shown below).

Recreate trends for the current season

So it's finally Fall and you can't wait to step into the latest trends shown in magazines, movies, at this past February's Fashion Week. But with Tuition due, textbook overpriced, and the cost of looking your campus best is at an all time high, you don't have much dough to spend on those new leather boots you saw down at the mall.

Supposed you have an old sweater that Grandma passed down. Before you think about getting rid of it....STOP! With a little creativity, that ancient sweater can become the hottest accessory you've ever had.

• Turn that old sweater into a hooded scarf, like the ones worn by old Hollywood stars. It will keep your head warm without ruining your hair or making you look like a mushroom.

Think your shorts from this past summer at the beach can't be worn this autumn? Think of pairing them with falls hot tights, and lace hosiery. Whether lace or bright opaque, those shorts will definitely awaken your wardrobe this fall.

So before you give up on a chance at the stylish fall semester you desire, look in your closet and pull out those transition pieces that will pull you from hot August into a cool & chic September!

With her love for sheer elegance and desire for clothing that captures the essence and beauty of a woman, Joi-Louise is bound to leave her mark on the fashion industry.

Joi-Louise attended a private school in Manhattan and received her Associate's Degree in fashion design.  Her professor's inspired her to be everything she could be! After interning at a local fashion house, she decided she would persue a degree in business.
